Solution

The correct option is A Small intestine
Peyer’s patches :
Peyer’s patches are secondary lymphoid organs which are clusters of lymphoid follicles in the mucous membrane present in the small intestine along the ileum.

Vermiform appendix :
Vermiform appendix is a worm-shaped, muscular structure attached to the large intestine in the human body. It helps in the removal of waste matter in the digestive system. It contains lymphoid tissues resembling the Peyer’s patches in the small intestine and is considered a secondary lymphoid organ. The immunological function of the appendix is redundant as removal of the appendix does not have any massive effect on the immunological responses.

Final answer :
(a) Small intestine
