1) First draw OB=2cm, BC=1cm. Draw right angled triangle using the values.It's hypotenuse will be √5.[since √(2²+1²)=√5]

2)This √5 can be marked on number line using compus.

3)Use this √5 as base and 1 as adjuscent and draw right angled triangle. It's hypotenuse will be √6

4)Use this √6 as base and 1 as adjuscent side of a right angled triangle. It's hypotunues will be √7

Take this last hypotunues length and mark the same length from 0 on number line. That gives √7
