Road accidents at high speeds are very much worse than accidents at low speeds. Why?

1. When the object is moving at high speed it possesses high kinetic energy i.e it will have greater velocity.
2. More the velocity more will be the momentum in the object.
3. So when an object is moving with high velocity and crashes, in such case transfer of momentum is high.
4. Greater the transfer of momentum more will be the damage.
