Fraction of wall painted by Madhavi = $\frac{1}{3}$

Total painting done by both of them =$\frac{2}{3}+\frac{1}{3}=\frac{2+1}{3}=\frac{\text{/}3}{\text{/}3}=1$

Therefore, they painted the whole wall.
