Multiplying first equation by 2
$6 x + 8 y = - 50$
Multiply second equation by 3
$6 x - 9 y = 18$
Subtracting second equation from first equation,
$17 y = - 68$
$y = - 4$
Substituting value of y in $2 x - 3 y = 6$ , $x = - 3$
