$\frac{x + 12}{x} = \frac{7}{5}$
$\Rightarrow 5 x + 60 = 7 x$
$\Rightarrow 5 x - 7 x + 60 = 0$
$\Rightarrow - 2 x + 60 = 0$
$\Rightarrow - 2 x = - 60$ or $x = \frac{60}{2} = 30$
$∴ x = 30$
