Capacity of the tank = 8,200 mL

Water available in the tank = 12 L

Let's convert L to mL.

We know that,
1 L = 1,000 mL


So,
12 L = 12×1,000 mL=500

Hence, out of the 8,200 mL capacity of the tank, 500 mL is already filled.

Now, we have to find the remaining amount of water to be filled in the tank.

Amount of water to be filled = Total capacity – Water available


Therefore, 7,700 mL of water is required to fill the tank.
