The correct option is D
Case-I
For positive input voltage when Vi>5.7V, the diode D1 will turn ON, thus voltage at the output =5+0.7=5.7 V.
Case-I
For negative input voltage when Vi<0.7V, then diode D2 will enter into forward region and thus will start conducting with a drop of 0.7 V on it.
Thus, V0=Vin for 0.7V<Vi<0 and V0=0.7 V for Vi<0.7 V.
