The correct option is A 600 sq. in.
We know,
Area of a rectangle = Length of rectangle × Breadth of rectangle.


Here length of actual frame = 40 inches
Breadth of actual frame = 30 inches.
So, area of the entire framed photograph will be:
=40 in× 30 in=1200 sq. in.


Length of the actual photo of the king = 30 inches.
Breadth of the actual photo of the king = 20 inches.

So, area of the actual photograph without the frame is:
=30 in× 20 in=600 sq. in.

Therefore,
Area of the frame=1200 sq. in600 sq. in
=600 sq. in.

Hence, the area of the frame of the photograph is 600 sq. in.
