As per the given information in the question, the perimeter of a rectangle is 40 m.
Let x be the breadth of the rectangle.
Then, length of the rectangle = 5x - 4
According to the question, 2x + 2(5x - 4) = 40
$\Rightarrow 2x+10x-8=40\Rightarrow 12x=48\Rightarrow x=4$
Hence, length of the rectangle = 5x - 4 = (5 $\times$ 4) - 4 = 20 - 4 = 16 m.
