Relationship Between G and g

The relationship between G which is known as the universal gravitational constant and g known as acceleration due to gravity is given below.

g=GMR2

Where,

g is the acceleration due to the gravity of any given body in ms-2.
G is the universal gravitational constant in Nm2/kg2.
R is the radius of the given body in km.
M is the mass of the given body in kg.

Hence, the relation between g and G is g=GMR2.
