Volume of block of gold $:0.5m^3$

$=0.5\times 1000000c{m}^3$

$=500000c{m}^3$

Area of sheet formed $=1$ hectare

$=10000m^2=10000\times 10000c{m}^2$

$\therefore$ Thickness of sheet $=\frac{500000}{10000\times 10000}cm$

$=\frac{5}{1000}cm=\frac{5}{1000}\times 10$

$=\frac{5}{100}mm=0.05mm$ or $0.005cm$
