The correct option is C 90 W
When resistors are in series,


So, total power developed in circuit will be

P1=V2Req=E23R=10 W ........(1)

When resistors are in parallel,


Similarly, for parallel combination,

P2=E2R/3=3E2R ........(2)

Using value of E2R from eq.(1) we get,

P2=3E2R=3×30=90 W

Hence, option (c) is correct.
