Transverse wave speed can be written as
v1=T1μ and v2=T2μ
[μ will be same as the wire considered is same]
So,
v2v1=T2T1T2=T1×(v2v1)2
From the data given in the question ,
T2=12×(6040)2=12×94=27 N
