Solution
Bones are greyish-white tissue that is made of two-thirds of inorganic substances which includes minerals such as phosphorus, calcium, etc. while one-third of it is composed of organic substances.
They are living growing tissues as they are supplied with nerves, blood vessels and are made of living cells (osteocytes), which help them to develop and to repair themselves.
