Solution:
Duns are flat-bottom structured valleys that are formed between the Shivalik hill and the lesser himalayas.
Duns are formed in 3 steps:
First step: The accumulation of river water over an obstacle, such as a mountain.
Second step: The deposition of sediments such as thick gravel and alluvial soil at the bottom of the river water.
Third step: The outflow of the river water from the weak eroded region of the obstacle.
