Metals

• Metals are distinguished from nonmetals on a periodic table by a jagged line that goes from carbon to radon.
• Examples of metals are Gallium, indium, magnesium, lithium, and sodium.

Non-Metals

• These can be discovered on the right side of the periodic table.
• Examples of nonmetals are Sulphur, carbon, phosphorus, oxygen, nitrogen, and noble gases.

Metalloids

• Semimetals, also known as metalloids, are elements found bridging metals and nonmetals.
• These will incorporate the attributes of metals and nonmetals.
• Examples of metalloids are Silicon, Germanium, Arsenic etc.
