What are prime triplets

Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

A prime triplet is a set of three prime numbers of the form (p, p + 2, p + 6) or (p, p + 4, p + 6)

For example we take prime number 5

Here p=5

then p+2= 5+2 = 7 is a prime

and p+6 = 5+6 = 11 is a prime

Then (5,7,11) is a prime triplet.

Other examples are (7, 11, 13), (11, 13, 17), (13, 17, 19). Find some by your own for better understanding
