Characteristics of pure metal:

• Pure metals are weak and soft.
• They are good conductors of electricity and lustrous.
• They are ductile and malleable, they are a form of metallic oxides.
• They are made of only one type of atom.
• Their properties are determined by the arrangement of atoms.
