Question
What are the four bases of human DNA?
Open in App
Solution
Bases of DNA:
A,C,G and T are the abbreviations for the four main types of nitrogen bases found in the DNA molecule.
It represents four human DNA bases: adenine (A), cytosine (C), guanine (G), and thymine (T).
A DNA molecule is made up of two complementary strands that are wrapped around one other.
Bonds between these nucleotides keep each strand of DNA together.
When it comes to pairing, adenine only pairs with thymine while cytosine always pairs with guanine.
