Solution

Human health: It is defined as the physical, mental, and social well-being of an individual.

Human health is dependent on a number of factors that may be:
1. Internal factors: These include all the factors that are under the direct control of the individual.
2. External factors: These include the various parameters that are independent of an individual's will and control.

Internal factors:

  1. Genetic buildup: The genes and chromosomes that constitute a person determine whether the individual suffers from any genetic or inherited diseases.
  2. Education: Education raises awareness on the maintenance of health, adoption of healthy habits, and the prevention and cure of diseases.
  3. Economic condition: A person's financial condition makes them avail of everything ranging from home in a clean, hygienic locality to nutritional food, from proper medical facilities to treatment during diseases.

External factors:

  1. Environmental conditions: The state of the environment, pollutants, contaminants, and toxicants are responsible for the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil we come into contact with. While a clean environment like a forest area helps maintain good health, and unhealthy, a contaminated environment like an industrial area worsens health conditions.
  2. Insufficient healthcare facilities: These are among the most severe dilapidating reasons behind a decline in human health. People who are aware of vaccination and immunization drives required medication, and treatments for diseases are unable to avail themselves.
