An algebraic expression is an expression that contains constant numbers, variables, and arithmetic operators operating them.

A coefficient is a fixed number that is a numerical factor i.e. multiplied to a term variable of an algebraic expression

For example: 5x+6 if an Algebraic expression is here, the coefficient of the variablex is5.

Thus, a coefficient is a fixed number that is multiplied to a term with the variable of an algebraic expression
