The least common multiple (also called the lowest common multiple or smallest common multiple) of two integers a and b, usually denoted by LCM(a, b), is the smallest positive integer that is divisible by both a and b.
Eg. Let us find the LCM of 4 and 5
Multiples of 4 = 4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36,40.... (Table of 4)
Multiples of 5 = 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50... (Table of 5)
Common multiples = 20,40,60,80.....
Lowest common multiple = 20
So, LCM of 4 and 5 is 20.
