What is meant by the power of accommodation of the eye?

Power of accommodation:

  1. The capacity of the eye lens to adapt its focal length throughout the order to clearly concentrate rays from a distant and a close object here on the retina is called the eye's accommodating power.
  2. Human eye lenses are translucent and crystalline. It is biconvex and is in charge of focusing light onto the retina. It is located behind the cornea and has been connected to the ciliary body by ligaments.
  3. The biconvex lens seems to be a basic lens composed of two convex surfaces throughout spherical form that have a similar radius of curvature. As a consequence, these are also known as convex-convex lenses.

Relationship between focal length and power:

The amount of light bending rises as the focus length lowers. As a result, we may deduce that the power of a lens would be inversely related to its focal length.
