Solution

Proton:

  1. A positively charged particle in the nucleus of an atom is known as a proton.
  2. A proton carries one unit of positive charge. Thus, the relative charge of a proton is +1.
  3. The actual mass of a proton is 1.6×10-24g.
  4. The mass of proton is equal to the mass of one Hydrogen atom (H) i.e. 1u as the nucleus of Hydrogen atom contains only one proton.

Thus, the actual mass of a proton is 1.6×10-24g.
