Solution

Ovaries:

  1. Ovaries are the principal female reproductive organs located in the pelvis.
  2. They contain female gamete cells called oocytes or eggs.
  3. These ovaries contain fluid-filled structures known as follicles.
  4. It is in these follicles the eggs are enclosed.
  5. The eggs grow to maturity inside the follicles and come out after the follicle ruptures to perform fertilization.
