Compound (A) is phenol and compound (D), a derivative of phenol cannot be considered as aromatic alcohol.
Aromatic alcohol has hydroxyl group bonded directly to an aromatic hydrocarbon group.
In compound (B) and (C), OH group is bonded to sp3 hybridized carbon which in turn is bonded to benzene ring. Hence they are aromatic alcohols.
