Separation of magnetic ores
Ores which are magnetic in nature can be separated from non- magnetic gangue particles by magnetic separation method.
For example, ores of iron such as haematite $\left(F{e}_2{O}_3\right)\text{siderite}\left(FeC{O}_3\right)$ and iron pyrites $\left(Fe{S}_2\right)$ being magnetic can be separated from non - magnetic and other impurities by magnetic separation method.
