Which section of the nephron follows the ascending limb of the loop of Henle?
Distal convoluted tubule
The descending loop of Henle arises from the proximal convoluted tubule and then extends upward to form the ascending limb of Henle's loop. The ascending limb of the loop of Henle is followed by the distal convoluted tubule which then opens into the collecting duct.
