Why do like charges repel each other? Why do not they attract each other ?

Solution

not all the charges repel each other. Like charges repel eachother and unlike charges attract eachother.
i.e positive will be repelled by another positive charge and attracted by the negative charge .
Also Negative charge will be reppelled by negative charge and attracted by another positive charge.
