IGNOU July 2022 registration dates extended for ODL programmes; Portal to submit re-registration forms for next academic year to close on September 17, 2022

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline to register for its Open and Distance Learning and re-register for next academic year. The new deadlines are September 22, 2022 and September 17, 2022 respectively. IGNOU July 2022 registration IGNOU July 2022 registration: The deadline for IGNOU July 2022 registration for the programmes has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). The new deadline is September 22, 2022. The open university has also extended the deadline for IGNOU re-registration for the next academic year. The deadline has been set as September 17, 2022. Candidates who fail to fill the registration form within the given deadline won’t be given admission in the next academic year or semester. Candidates are required to fill IGNOU registration forms to get admission to application forms for several undergraduate, postgraduate, advanced diploma, diploma and certificate courses that are affiliated with IGNOU. For reference, the steps to fill in the registration form for ODL programmes and the registration forms for the next academic year or semester are mentioned below, for reference.

IGNOU registration form 2022: Steps to fill it up

  1. The application forms are available at the IGNOU registration portal: ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Register Online' link from the dropdown icon.
  3. Key in the required details and upload the documents in the prescribed size and format.
  4. Pay the application fee in online mode, i.e., credit card, debit card, or net banking.
  5. Check all the information before submitting the application form.
  6. Download the application form and save it for further reference.

How to apply for IGNOU re-registration in 2022?

  1. In order to re-register for the next academic year, candidates need to visit the online portal of IGNOU, ignou.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click on the "Re-Registration" tab.
  3. Then read all the instructions given and click on "Proceed for Re-Registration."
  4. In the login window, mention all the required credentials.
  5. The application form page will open.
  6. Feed in the required details on the IGNOU re-registration form.
  7. Check all the information provided and pay the application fee using the online mode, i.e., through credit card, debit card, or net banking.
  8. Click on submit and then download the application form and save it for further use.
The registration for the July session of IGNOU admission 2022 commenced on May 30, 2022. The June session of the IGNOU End Theory exam was conducted on 22, 2022, and continued till September 5, 2022.
