The frequent changes in the exam centres and exam dates in the fourth phase of the CUET UG 2022 exam have left aspirants in distress. CUET UG 2022 On 17 August 2022, day 1 of phase 4 of the CUET UG 2022 exam commenced as scheduled. However, technical glitches again began at some centres which led to the cancellation of the exam at 13 centres for both shifts. Over 8693 candidates returned to their homes without giving their exams. These frequent technical glitches have caused a great amount of distress among candidates. Not only the technical glitches of the CUET-UG fourth phase but also the non-allotment of preferred exam centres for various candidates have caused problems. A candidate who has wished for a certain exam centre during online form filling was allotted a centre far away from his/her residence. Some candidates have reached out to NTA regarding this issue but to no avail. Not only this, one exam centre at Gaya had delayed the commencement of the shift 1 exam offering candidates to appear on the 2nd day of the fourth phase or directly appear on the 5th phase. Some of the candidates whose exam was rescheduled to the fourth phase have found out that their exam has been further rescheduled to another day without any intimation. Other than all this, some candidates were not able to download their admit cards before the commencement of the phase 4 exams. Later on, when they were able to download their admit cards, their exam had already started. The CUET-UG exam is the only gateway to enter into undergraduate programs of all the central universities across India, which makes it one of the important entrance exams for candidates. The delays in exam conduct had led to delays in the publication of results which has also affected the counseling cum admission processes of certain central universities accepting CUET-UG scores. Along with all this, nature has also played a major role in delaying phase 2 of the CUET-UG exams which has added more stress among candidates. The CUET-UG 2022 exam is being conducted in online mode in 13 different languages namely, English, Hindi, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, and Telugu.
