One of the best solutions for solid waste disposal is recycling. In this process waste is converted into a new or usable product, preventing waste disposal in the process. There are other methods such as landfill and incineration plants.
But both have environmental consequences. Landfills cause water pollution and are restricted to the availability of land, while incineration plants can cause air pollution.
