The diet of the musk deer consists of the following:

Musk deer resemble small deer, with a stocky build and hind legs longer than their front legs. They are commonly found in the alpine forests of South Asia, notably the Himalayas. Due to the demand for musks and perfumes, they are being killed in large numbers, putting them in the endangered category.
