Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is the full form of GNCT. The Government of NCT of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2021 received the presidential assent in March 2021. The Act basically gives more power to the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of the National Capital Territory of Delhi and diminished the elected government’s power. The Act also seeks to bring in some clarity on certain subjects in the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Act, 1991.
