The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is funded by voluntary contributions from very few Member Governments and from the European Union, UNEP, UNFCCC, and WMO etc.
The IPCC has 195 member governments and 134 observer organizations that see to its day-to-day functions. The IPCC is governed by its member states, which elect a bureau of scientists to serve for the duration of an assessment cycle that is usually upto six to seven years.
