- T20 is a short cricket match played between teams for twenty overs. It was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2003. There are restrictions on the number of overs assigned to the bowler, fielder, etc.
- India won the First T20 World Cup in 2007, defeating Pakistan at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. This was the first edition of the T20 World Cup. South Africa hosted the event.
- Other winners of the ICC T20 World Cup are Pakistan, England, Srilanka, and Australia.
- Organized by the International Cricket Council, Twenty-20 is an international tournament and consists of 16 teams.
- The T20 World Cup,2024 will be hosted by the United States and West Indies.
- West Indies has won the World Cup twice, in 2012 and 2016.
- T20 World Cup, 2022 will be hosted by Australia. It was postponed in 2020 due to Covid.
