What is meant by the term Oilzapper?

Oilzapper refers to the new technique of using bacteria to get rid of oil spills. Oil Zapping is a bio-remediation technique involving the use of ‘oil zapping’ bacteria.

Bioremediation is the use of microbes to clean up contaminated soil and groundwater. Bioremediation stimulates the growth of certain microbes that use contaminants as a source of food and energy.
