Where does the green climate Fund money come from?

The money for the Green Climate Fund comes from pledges made by member nations.

As of 31 July 2020, the Green Climate Fund has raised USD 10.3 billion equivalent in pledges from 49 countries. These include 9 representing developing countries:

  • Chile
  • Colombia
  • Indonesia 
  • Mexico
  • Mongolia
  • Panama
  • Peru
  • Republic of Korea 
  • Vietnam
