HPBOSE Class 12 Physics Syllabus

The Himachal Pradesh Class 12 Physics syllabus is divided into 10 units and carries the weightage of each unit is as below;

Unit 1: Electrostatics 07
Unit 2: Current Electricity 07
Unit 3: Magnetic effect of current & Magnetism 07
Unit 4: Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current 07
Unit 5: Electromagnetic Waves 03

Unit 7: Dual Nature of Matter 03
Unit 8: Atoms and Nuclei 04

Evaluation Scheme for HP Board Physics Practical Exam

The Physics practicals are of 25 Marks. The marking scheme for practicals are mentioned below;

One experiment from any one Section 7
Two activities (One from each section) 3+3 = 6
Practical record (experiments & activities) 5
Record of demonstration experiments & Viva based on these experiments 2
Viva on experiments and activities 5
Total 25
