It is the wettest place on the Earth with an annual rainfall of 11,872 millimeters.
It has an exceptionally showery, rainy, and long monsoonal season and a short dry season.
The incredible climate and monsoon make it an attractive tourist destination. Mawsynram is blessed with rich flora and fauna.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Mausynram receives 26,00 millimeters of rainfall in 1985.
