What is the difference between continents and oceans?

Oceans

Continents are large and continuous masses of land which are separated by expanses of water. Oceans are large water bodies on the Earth.
Continental crust is thicker. The oceanic crust is thinner.
Continents cover 21% of Earth’s surface. They cover 72% of Earth’s surface.
Examples of continents are Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. Examples of oceans are the Indian ocean, Pacific ocean, Atlantic ocean, etc.
