Where was Gandhi when Chauri Chaura took place?

Mahatma Gandhi was about to launch a Civil Disobedience Campaign in Bardoli, Gujarat when he received news about the Chauri Chaura incident on Feb 4, 1922. This incident led him to calling off the entire Non-Cooperation movement altogether
