Why is radioactive pollution most harmful?

Radioactive pollution is the most harmful form of pollution as it damages environments for years to come. Coming in contact with a habitat’s radioactive pollution will have adverse effects on human health as well.

An example of radioactive pollution is the Chernobyl incident and the destruction of the Fukushima reactor in Japan.
