India maintains bilateral and diplomatic ties with other countries and their representatives for peaceful and business relations between the countries. Important-Export, political visits, joint military exercises, participation in events and global commissions/committees, are all a part of the international relations that two or more countries share with each other. This enables peace and also extends a helping hand from other nations in times of economic need.
International Relations is also an important topic for the UPSC Mains examination and candidates must be aware of the bilateral and multilateral ties that India shares at a global level.
