The following were the outcomes of the Treaty of Allahabad:

• The British were entitled to collect tax directly in lieu of Rs 26 lakhs tribute to be paid annually to the Mughal.

• The Nawab of Awadh Shuja ud Daulahhad to pay fifty lakhs rupees as war indemnity to the East India Company.
