The Bijolia peasant movement was a movement against excessive land revenue extractions that took place in Mewar state. Beginning in 1897, the movement continued till 1941 after a bitter struggle lasting about half a century, gained national attention and resisted state oppression.
Its origin was in Bijolia district of modern-day Rajasthan before spreading to the surrounding areas in earnest.
