The signatories of the Treaty of Allahabad were as follows:
- Shah Alam II, son of the late Mughal Emperor Alamgir II
 
- Robert Clive of the East India Company
 
The treaty was signed as a result of the Battle of Buxar which saw the defeat of Shah Alam II and his allies.
