• Let us start sketching a computer monitor in the middle of a paper using a pencil and a ruler. 
• Use simple straight lines and draw a rectangle in the middle of the paper to form the screen. Adjacent to the screen, draw another rectangle to form the monitor. Make the picture appear like a small rectangle inside a big rectangle. 
• Sketch a few control buttons and add a power button to the monitor. Kids can use horizontal oval shapes for the control buttons and a circular figure for the power button.
