SOF IEO (International English Olympiad) level 1 test for sets A, B, and C was held online. To do well in the exam, students should be familiar with the entire SOF IEO Syllabus 2022-23. For each class, the IEO syllabus will cover themes from the CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board’s syllabus.

Students in elementary and secondary schools can use the IEO Class 2 Syllabus Previous Years’ questions to prepare for the upcoming national-level competitive test. Instead of focusing just on learning and correcting grammar, IEO tries to emphasise communication and usage of the English language. The sections covered in the SOF IEO curriculum for Class 2 are listed below.
IEO Syllabus for Class 2

The SOF IEO Class 2 syllabus is divided into four sections, each of which includes the topics listed below.
Section 1 | Collocations, Antonyms, Synonyms, Spellings, Identifying the word from the Picture, Phrases, Words Related to Animals, Pronouns, Nouns, Idioms, Adverbs, Verbs, Articles, Adjectives, Prepositions, Contractions, Simple Tenses, Conjunctions, Punctuation, Word Order. |
Section 2 | Search for and retrieve information from various text types like short dialogues, stories, etc. Acquire a broad understanding of and look for particular information in short texts, such as invitations, messages, etc. |
Section 3 | Ability to understand situation-based variations in functions, such as greeting, thanking, introducing (oneself), asking for permission, etc. |
Section 4 | Higher-order thinking questions include the syllabus as per the 1st, 2nd and 3rd sections. |

- Do not overlook any of the topics included in the SOF IEO curriculum. If you have any questions about a subject, talk to your professors about it.
- Instead of recalling, try to keep your concepts simple.
- After going over the SOF IEO curriculum 2022-23, practise as many example papers as you can. This will help you enhance your exam speed and accuracy.
